Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC, born March 4 1954, is a Canadian-American actress. O'Hara has won numerous prizes, including the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) and two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, O'Hara was appointed an Officer of Canada. She also received the Governor General’s Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara first became known for her acting in the year 1974 when she was a member of The Second City in Toronto. Along with John Candy, O'Hara was part of the main cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd started work in Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara received critical acclaim for her comedic writing and acting skills and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for a Variety Series in 1982. O'Hara was named to the Second City artistic advisory panel in 2022 by Stephen Colbert. Also included were Dwayne Colbert (Steve Carell), Tina Fey and Keegan Michael Key, and Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows.
