Lara Logan

 Lara Logan, born 29 March 1971 was an South African radio and television journalist and war reporter. She worked as a correspondent for CBS News between 2002 and 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually incorrect and politcally slanted story on the 2012 Benghazi attack "the most erroneous mistake I've made in my 10 years of watching." In the year 2019 she joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative media company. In January of 2020 she joined Fox Nation, a subscription streaming service owned by Fox News. She told Fox News in March 2022 that they had been "dumped". Logan was a news reporter at the Sunday Tribune in Durban, during her studies (1988-1989), and then for the Daily News (1990-1992). She joined Reuters Television Africa in 1992 as a senior producer. After four years she branched into freelance journalism, obtaining reports as a reporter and editor/producer for ITN as well as Fox/SKY, CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC, and the European Broadcasting Union. Reporting on events such as the 1998 bombings of the United States Embassy in Nairobi and Tanzania and the ongoing conflict in Northern Ireland and the Kosovo war, she worked at CNN.
